[UPDATE – MARCH 6, 2023 – THIS POSITION IS CLOSED] We have an opening for an experienced legal secretary with a minimum three years of civil litigation experience, with water court litigation and public agency experience a plus.

Qualified candidates should possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills combined with a strong work ethic. Candidates must have a thorough working knowledge of Word, Excel, and possess excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills. Working knowledge of both federal and state court rules is required. Candidates must be able to work independently, have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be a team player.

Requirements

Somach Simmons & Dunn offers an excellent work environment with competitive salary and benefits including paid parking. The current salary range for this position is $65,000 – $80,000. This position is located in our Sacramento office. We currently offer a mix of in-office and remote work, which is applicable to this position.
