We are happy to announce that Alexis Stevens has become a shareholder at Somach Simmons & Dunn.

Ali’s practice focuses on water, public agency, and employment law.  She represents public and private sector clients in the areas of natural resources and water law, with a focus on water rights and compliance with associated state and federal laws.  Ali also serves as outside general counsel to many of the firm’s special district clients and provides critical advice on a broad range of topics, including the Ralph M. Brown Act, the Public Records Act, the Government Code, and the Elections Code, among others.  In addition to her wide breadth of environmental law experience, Ali also advises her clients on both federal and state employment laws, insuring that their decisions and practices are sound, effective, and comply with the latest developments in employment law.

She is a distinguished graduate of the University of Southern California and Santa Clara University School of Law.
